what would you recommend for beginners

i have been into this for awhile now and have talked to my wife about it many times over the years and shes finally said get some info and ill make a decision. so i need your guys help. she basically wants to know what dog is the best dog for this? like which one has the biggest knot and what dog has been the easiest to get to do this? and shes also afraid since we have kids that the dog would be more likely to try and hump our kids or visitors. not trying to get to gross but we dont want that to happen. and any other info or tips you can give is appreciated as im still very new to it i just wanna watch and she is the first women thats actually agreed to do it. thank you so much for your help

I am keen as to what the advice will be ?
 
show her movies she would see how it goes and learn alot by that. if she is ok with power and love it rough then you can go with great dane and rotwiller. if she prefer it just agressive in a gentler way the golden retvier.
