What does dog drool taste like?

Whether it's a turn-on or a turn-off, or whether you're with a Labrador or a Saint Bernard, dog drool is part of sharing your life (and your body) with your special companion.

When you kiss (or get kissed), does a dog's saliva or mouth have a distinctive taste? Does it vary? Does it impact how you experience intercourse?

Saliva when kissing, No significant taste. Drool... some uncanny texture.

I stand corrected. Distorted taste of what they have recently eaten... kibble, cat poo, dirt... with a jelly sticky texture for drool plus it is usually cold as it reaches you.

Kissing saliva is ok if mouth is clean. Drool... just use a napkin first...

Kissing has the taste of the most recent meal or no taste at all. As long as you brush your dog's teeth.

Not much taste really, but it’s nicer if he just drank some water. Still love swallowing it either way

Interesting! Thanks for chiming in. I've read enough stories where drool and panting is mentioned prominently that they've both crossed over into my own fantasies, and at the end of the day I couldn't keep such a weird question to myself.
