What causes us humans to feel attracted(sexually) to animals?

It depends, for some is the kinky aspect, which means it's not a physical attraction, but the concept of having sex with an animal and what it means to them is what makes it attractive.
For some it is physical, which is equivalent to why normally people get attracted to other people, and in this aspect is not so easy to explain. One could say it's because at the end of the day, a penis is a penis (or vagina), you will just be attracted to it anyway; you may find it as/or more hot than a human penis/vagina.
But it's not just that, because some people are attracted to the animal itself and find an animal hot just as other people find a person hot. For this I would say we could compare it in some way if you think an animal is beautiful or not, regardless if you feel sexual attraction to it.
For me is a mixture of both kink and actual attraction to the animal. The concept of having sex with an animal turns me on, and I'm attracted to their sexual organs, I actually think they are hot. And for the animal itself, I do found them beautiful, but I don't see them 'hot' as I would with a person.
All of these are my opinions, I'm not a scientist or anything like that. It's just deduction and hypothesis. Hope it helps though.

I don't know. I wasn't exposed to anything, trauma, porn, etc when I was real young and these feelings predate my discovery of porn around 13-14. I'm zoo exclusive, and I've never really been attracted to people. Around 12-13 I started to notice how much I love dogs, and after receiving "the talk" I began to thunk about dogs. When I did discover porn, I was more just interested in watching the process I had before only heard about. That shifted to curiosity when I discovered gay/lesbian sex and I only watched gay porn because I was curious about how that worked. It wasn't until I found zoo porn that I actually was interested in the content beyond curiosity, but actually interested and aroused by it. So idk, probably something that requires more research that will never be done because of the publics opinion of us. Or maybe it's the same reason some people are homosexuals. That's what I usually go with, is that it's caused by the same thing that makes some people homosexuals.
I am not attracted to animals intimately. I love my pets due to loyality, their ability to make me smile, laugh, understanding the mood I am in and the willingness to protect me with the cost of their life.

For me, it started as curiosity watching animals breeding on the farm. Adults were ok and would explain what I was seeing, yet never saw humans having sex. Maybe that implanted the idea.
Now, they are very willing and soft and WARM. There is a huge temperature difference that makes my dick hot. Once I had my first dog, I knew it was everything I wanted.
