What Anime are you watching right now?

Rewatching some Delicious in Dungeon!

I simply love the vibe of the show and it genuinely gives me the energy to cook proper meals, Senshi's passion for food and nutrition is inspiring!

My updated currents - Dan da Dan is really good, I feel like there's some elements from Mob Psycho, Kaiju #8, and even Dororo in there lol
Also watching Dan da Dan, which is very nice. The manga is also nice, although being sometimes a bit hard to follow (fighting scenes mostly).

Also started The Testament of Sister New Devil from my side.. let's see!

Oh hey. This is my hole. it was made for me. How do you do my fellow weebs?

I'm not watching anything right now but thinking of going back to rewatch Serial Experiments Lain with a wiser mind than I was when it came out since the themes of tech and alienation seem all the more pertinent now. Otherwise binged though Vinland Saga recently.

I've been keeping up with the manga "My new girlfriend isn't human?" which is pretty good and wholesome.

Watched Frieren. Good, but could have been less of a fight anime. Writers were cowards.
Stopped half way through Youkai Apartment when I realized it was just a show on how to be Japanese.
Kage Kara Mamoru was cute at first but turned into yet another harem anime.

Mahoutsukai ni Taisetsu was kind of bad. Like a funny mix between a Ghibli and a tourism ad, it was mostly a flat teen romance story.
My Isekai Life was predictable hero vs cultist low budget low thought anime. Do not recommend.
Now Ushio and Tora was interesting. A fairly typical youkai buster anime with all the tropes, but at high production value. By the end it was pretty good, even with all the silly stereotypes.

Forgot to mention, My Isekai Life does have very occasional shots of wolf balls, I was surprised. Very subtle as they are, never seen this in another anime.

Could not finish Made in Abyss, it is some kind of high production value horror, loli, toilet gore nightmare. A real vomit inducing anime that someone spent a lot of money making.
Jujutsu Kaisen was a nail biter. It's more or less a fight anime but in the vein of Game of Thrones. It has the courage to go where other anime does not, but it is not kind.

Just finished Re Creators. Kind of a reverse isekai, story book characters came to life, kind of thing. More dramatic and high production value then those things usually go. But also kind of strange and technical at times.

Hakumei to Mikochi was super cute, tiny people anime and the right way to do a slice of life show. Would watch a second season.
Bungou and Alchemist Gears of Judgment on the other hand was a strange, mostly bishi story about real Japanese authors? Most of whom killed themselves. Didn't like it. Animation about or promoting historical figures and events always seem to land with a thud.
