I make free avatars for the zoo community, there's already a cookie asset that works on any base (bit of a pain to setup because the prefab comes broken lol). I already have it setup on a male Canis, if you want a copy or have a base in mind I could put together a unity project together for you. I'm closeted but it's nice to give back to the community in some way

If you have the ability and knowledge to do this I would love to try and get two avatars, a feral and an anthro. Both black backed jackle (used the hyena premade for it then heighten the ears and narrowed the snout) because I bought a custom once and then after paying over $400 the creator never updated it and also got it banned from Vr chat. So I lost the assets. But I have photos!
I would like it to be female but with breast toggle. And if there’s any way you could make a latex toggle I’d be very grateful. Also lay/sit toggle would be needed cause I don’t have fbt.

From my 3 years on there, the only thing that is the issue is other players in my opinion. If you're openly zoo or have it somewhere on your profile, everyone will have issue with it. For privacy, just do invite only instances and have zoo friends come over to that. I spent enough time talking to friends in both private and public instances on zoo topics, that if there was something watching or listening, I'd definitely have been caught by now. So I'd say there isn't any fancy AI thing watching.

I’d suggest trading up to a quest 2 pico 4 or quest 3, but I’d definitely love to add you one there PM me your name or ask for mine

yeah the quest 3 is going to be released fairly soon so you could either get a 2 for cheaper or go with the 3. VRChat wise, quest2 does have issues handling the game and there are crashing issues just FYI. if you can save up (and dont have a VR capable PC), I'd recommend going with the newer headset
