Very 1st Human

day_79

Tourist
I wonder who was the very first human to realize that humans and animals could have sex? ? How exactly did they figure this out?

Probably someone a few hundred thousand years ago who was more or less between human and animal still.
Yooooo, I've never thought about it from that perspective. ????

I guess it could have been Adam...after he got sick of Eve's bullshit :ROFLMAO:
????

No, before he got the female human. Can you imagine a horny guy surrounded by docile animals of all kinds? Doing nothing?
Imagine the animals back then though. ? Those things will probably MUUCCHH GREATER in size than today's animals

I remember seeing a Greek Vase with an image depicting a woman within a cow-shaped statue that allowed a bull to mount it and penetrate her. If memory serves, I think it had something to do with the Minotaur Myth, but not 100% certain. Tried to do some *brief* research and came across something referencing Ovid's Metamorphoses, but I'm not sure if this is related to what I described.

I just remember seeing an image of a vase and thinking to myself "Well, I know *this* goes back that far at least".

Zeus was constantly taking the form of animals and knocking up human women, that's where all the hybrid mythical creatures came from.

LORD!! ?? So it's just imagine exactly how long Zoo stuff has been around.

As far as first human under the evolution construct. That probably has been since the very first group to have either pets or livestock or even a cooperative arrangement with one. Basically whenever humans could get close to animals there probably were some being sexual with them. Early humans wouldn't have had all social hang ups that modern ones do. They wouldn't have cared as long as it wasn't endangering the group survival. It wouldn't surprise me if a special relationship is how the wolves that became dogs were domesticated. If the person who is bringing in an animal that can protect and help hunt is having intercourse with the wolf they wouldn't have cared. They would have been happy to have an edge up on survival for their group.

If I remember correctly Adam was given choice of any of the animals to take as a partner and he basically tried a bunch out but didn't find any he felt was a fitting partner so God then created eve as his counterpart.
can only imagine if Adam would have chosen differently like chose a wolf instead how things would have progressed :)

If he was able to successfully mate with one instead of humanity there would likely be anthos.
Especially in the old testament it would make sense that God put the tree in the garden to eventually punish Adam and his kind for going against what god said and saying that none of God's creations were good enough.

I think the Greek, Hindu, Central American and Egyptian religions are more suited to your tastes.

I don't think any one religion has things completely right. They attempt to stear people in a particular direction but most of them become social constructs used to control people for the benefit of the few in power at the time. And any with deities are not able to be proved nor disproved.

Wow, a rational answer. That was unexpected. Do tell, are you a man of any faith?

Faith isn't my strong suit. It makes sense to me that there is something after life but it can not be proved nor can it be proved that nothing exists. So there may be nothing. I'm okay with either but if there is nothing left of the ones I have lost to death I don't believe I can handle that. So I keep some of my beliefs knowing they may be false and let other have theirs. Because sometimes we need nice illusions.
