"Took off" in terms of popularity? That's well possible, I didn't know this one as well. But there are still a few erotic drawings in the .nets (and lots of crap, yea.. like with most low-popularity topics, unfortunately).

This doesn't always resemble lots and lots of media, just that -someone- thought about creating something erotic in relevance to the specific topic.

I suppose I should be used to it by now, considering I always have to exclude MLP from my porn searches on e621, but I still find it pretty disturbing that some folks seem to be sexually attracted to characters from a kids show.

Of course plenty of people find it disturbing that I like watching these kids shows in the first place. I was already aware of and watching "Unicorn Academy." My impression is that it likely won't get a second season, but it's decent enough to kill some time on if you just want something upbeat and colorful.

So I watch the first episode (or "movie", since it's 1h30 of film !!!) and I really liked it!!

I like the fact that it takes lots of inspiration from Harry Potter but creates its own new world with nice (and sexy) unicorns :3

It's not perfect though, the rythm is somehow inequal... For instance, the first "episode" is a 1h30 movie, which sometimes seems to be too long
(some parts I found a bit boring) BUT the classes are rushed (we see only one?), and the events happen too fast (I wont say more to not spoil).
In conclusion, I would have preferred like 4x 40 minutes episodes instead of this movie, and have more details of the classes, the creatures in this world, the relations between characters etc...

These are my impressions from the first episode/movie, perhaps my opinion that the rythm is not so good will change ^^

Hello, that's great news!

I'm actually not sure I'll watch it... Season 1 was interesting, but not what I preferred, the rythm was a bit too unequal to me, and the characters not deep enough. Also, I'm really not a fan of the villain...
I actually prefer MLP FIM a lot more!

However, the concept here is great and it's nice that it continues ^^'
Nice that unicorns keep making this world brighter!

I'm grateful it did, when I grew up in the '50's there was an abundance of 'feel good', sweet shows to watch. Too much stuff is dark and dystopian these days. Being exposed to such is NOT emotionally, mentally or spiritually healthy!
