Lately I can’t shake the thought that we were meant to have sex with animals. Sex with other humans is purely for the sake of reproduction, but we were meant to have sex with animals. You could argue that it is compatible with closely related species too. But there the genetic incompatibility will do the rest.
But at no point has it ever evolved for humans.
The fact that it fits and happens to feel nice is pure coincidence.
A banana fits into your orifices, but you can hardly say it evolved to be used as a sex toy.
Or for that matter that it was created for us. As some idiots would like to claim. We made the banana what it is today by selective breeding.

One could argue about that. Dogs have been bred by humans (not that way!) for millennia and they have bigger dicks than wolves of the same size.

Of course, there are many reasons to select for dick size, but it's at least possible that this played a role at some point.
