Tips for my mom's new kitten?

My mom has gotten a kitten!! His name is king (after the owl house character), and hes a longhaired black kitty about 2 months old. I was wondering if you guys had any tips for playing with and bottle feeding/weaning him.
Thats sooo cute, i love cats. 2 months old he should weened by now?

He had a bit of a difficult start when we got him, he was severely underweight and the only thing he would eat was milk, so it's taken us awhile to get to weaning him since we wanted to prioritize him getting in better shape first.

I love cats as well! I've never done anything zooey with any, well at least anything successfully but I can understand them as companions.

For some reason cats dont do anything sexual for me even they are my most favourited animal. Fair enough about the milk, id use kitten biscuits cause they have more protien and fat and mix with warm milk till it turns to a paste and feed him that, over time reduce the milk till its just biscuits

Loving person you are x
Hopefully he'll be a big strong king once weight gained.
As mentioned with the food prep, that should do it, but if concerns still there after a few weeks maybe see vet?

For your momma's new kitten, as long as he is getting well fed, has all his shots and things, and being loved daily!...nothing much more needed! :)

Vet here.

Your mum's 8 week old kitten should be old enough now to start on solid foods. You can supplement her diet with kitten milk by adding a small amount of milk and mixing it into her food to soften it. Some cooked/ground mince might also be okay!

In fact, she does not really require milk any long moving forwards and can be wean solely on solids. You can slowly reduce the amount of milk and increase her solids gradually over the next 7 to 10 days.
