Tips for a first timer

So me and my wife have been interested in trying some of this for a while now. But really haven't had the opportunity. She really wants to try and be mounted. We own an elderly female dog so we don't really want to run out and get a male just to try this. We had hoped to possibly find a semi local owner with some experience but that hasn't had much of a chance either understandably. So any tips for first timers who have fantasized and watched videos of this for a long time and now want to actually try it?

I strongly disagree. But, only because it's Indiana, which is a zoo wasteland.

Being in Indiana, my advice to every member here from Indiana who is looking, is to find the closest state border to you and look in that state. Or, any state bordering Indiana.

Well, in my defence, I was not on a owner-finding road trip during my last visit to the states, and my experience of where those owners reside in the states are highly limited.

I know. And, that's why I added that I only disagree because of what state was mentioned. Michigan to the north is a bit more fruitful. Indiana HAS zoo folks, but almost all you'll come into contact with here are gay, if that's your thing, great, if not, you're shit out of luck.........and doubly so if you're looking for an owner. Like everywhere else, owners are thin on the ground.

unfortunatly, we are literally the furthest from michigan you can be :(

Not going to lie.......no matter where you look, you'll be sifting through fakes, flakes, and losers until you pull your hair out unless you are exceptionally lucky.......

That being said, going off your "as far as possible" comment for an assumed area, kentucky, tennesee and a few states regionally close to those states are more promising overall, in my opinion, and that's primarily based on what I see in the personals.........though I would not recommend the personals directly as a place to be successful.
 
Well, on the bright side, assuming you don't lose all hope sifting thru time wasters, you may still be able to contribute to paying off that god damn bridge..........

That's reasonable. And realistic. And, as you must be aware, puts you in range of at least 4 states that are not indiana.

As not ideal as that may be, it does give you a few more options.

It might not do much to aid you in frequency, depending, but, in my own experience, frequency is the last thing you need to worry about at the begining too. You have to make it to the party before you need to be concerned with how long you plan to stay, lol

EDIT for correction 4, possible 5, originally stated 5 states.

ya just trying to find anyone who would help with the first time honestly, Like we would have to chat for a while before hand but just a chance.

Good point. The problem is matching that from the other side, which is the side I have grave reservations about.

It can't hurt to try it, but it does tend to wear down the hope in genuine people over time.

Yeah, one usually just see the "Animal pimps" offering in the open. And those are people one probably should keep a huge distance to.
"Tardos", fakes, law. I don't think those are anything besides those three musketeers.

ya we have a post there, and had a few people reach out but we got bad vibes from some, who were quick to want personal information or meet right away.

I'm probably the worst person to give advice on how to arrange a successful meetup.
I know that a lot of people have just stumbled upon each other while interacting in the forum, so that might be one way to "make it happen".

I am however very good and making threads derail, but I don't have to tell you that, you got first hand experience of that.
