I used to date my best friend's little sister when I was in college. There is about a 3 year age difference between the two of us. Recently I went to my best friend's house to say hello (we live in different states). When I drove over to visit, his sister left. He said she left because she didn't want things to be awkward.

Here is the thing, we dated about 20 years ago. Doesn't that seem odd?

She still has the hots for you :) I dated a young girl probably 30 yrs ago didnt see her for years then bumped into her & it was as if we hadnt been apart. The thing was she worked with my daughter made it difficult

Or SOMEbody left something unfinished...Old baggage doesn't necessarily go away, and time does NOT heal all wounds. More, if the OP had to ask HERE about something like this, he needs to do a little more soul search-work.

Nope, just a general question. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Not to beat a dead horse, but after two decades, if she doesn't "want it to be awkward", something is NOT finished. It could be just a cigar to you and be a raging Petroleum Flare-off Tower to her; I'll assume its not vice-versa. But there's a reason for the behavior. You were/are her brother's best bud? So what did you tell her brother back in the day? Not pointing a finger, pardner, just pointing out the possibilities. And if you didn't want answers or feedback, why'd you ask?

Yeah, I have to agree with this. She doesn't want to see you clearly, and she must have a good reason for it.
