First Get Ten Genuine posts, to open your DMs....Then spend a year or so reading and getting to know people. Do not expect an overnight deal, Bud. No one here knows whom you are, even if theyre willing to share their critters. Most are not. That said: Good luck.

Just relax, don't rush, read the rules and learn the ropes like 10 posts to DM etc

Don't believe that everyone is your friend and if it seems to be too true, more than likely it is not

You can make some genuine friendships here but remember in this, trust and time go very much in hand

like @saddlebum66 most people are not here to share their animals. Some people will be available for this, but they will want to get to know you very well before any meeeting.
But if you love animals in a special way, like we do, you are in the right place.
Zooville is a very special place to makke good friends, share good feelings, learn good things.

some tips:
-read the community rules.
-always protect your privacy.
-stay safe on the internet
-love the animals
-be polite.

This way, you will find good friendships ;)

It's very difficult and meetups are rare but it is possible, but like another user once said, don't hold your breath for it. It will take time to get to know others and find owners, especially if you're not an owner yourself (and it's hardest for gay men to find owners as most owners only want to meet women or straight couples), but it is possible,

If you hover over your name you will see a number under "Messages" and that's what needs to be above 10 to DM - remember posts/comments in the "Fun & Games" section don't count

Don't be in a rush to get there however or feel like you MUST respond to every thirsty person who will message you

It's completely fine to be passionate and aggravated at something that upsets you. To see what you stand for can be a huge benefit for those who want to see if you're genuine. I've always worn my beliefs on my sleeve and have let people know when I get upset about something.

I also love and care deeply. :3 If you conduct yourself on here, like you would conduct yourself OUT THERE, you've got a good chance to make friends,

Just be cautious and patient.

Just like Out There, there are people, who are here, who are just here to hurt you. It's a sad truth, but if you keep up your doubts and listen to those vibe-check moments you'll be fine.

Such as, if you were at a bar, and someone walks up to you and tells you they want you to fuck their wife, just out of the blue. It's both really specific, and REALLY suspicious. Use the same caution you would use in that situation, for your interactions in here.
