thinking of starting a discord server. thoughts?

so yea. made a new discord account. wanted to meet and talk with other zoos casually. forums are just not as casual as i'm looking for. any thoughts/tips?

Discord has a horrible privacy track record, do not use it.

I would support this, problem is, I think it's against discord's tos and that may compromise those who use the server

Terrible idea imo, there is literally zero security on discord. At best it gets banned in a few days, at worst somebody takes a ride in the party van

Discord is the least ideal option:

I am wondering what experience do people have with zoo groups being deleted by the producers of different chat apps. For example there are reports of discord deleting/banning zoo room and so on. If you have a good indication a zoo group/room was deleted by the company that owns the chat program...
