"therapy", psychologist,...

Varanta

Lurker
I want to tell someone about my sexuality. I thought about a psychologist. But I honestly don't know what he would say to me. He can't give me the medication for it, it doesn't exist.

I wonder if you have any experience with a psychologist and what he told you.

I am a proud zoo and I am not ashamed of it. I don't even want to "get help", how all antis say when they don't wish you death.

What did the psychologist tell you about your zoosexuality? Of course if you told him.

Make sure beasitality isn't illegal in your state before admitting to something like that. I'm sure there are therapists who would listen without judging you, but you'd be taking a big risk for something you don't need help with.

Well, first for any medications you would need to go to a psychiatrist. If you are just wanting to talk to someone because you want to tell someone, then there are a lot of other avenues to go down before talking with a therapist. If you aren't seeking help for a genuine concern, you will not get any benefits in talking with someone in the mental health field.
Psychologists and licensed therapists are legally not allowed to discuss your sessions unless you are going to harm another person or harm yourself. If it's just a matter of "getting it off your chest", you would honestly be better served just going to a church and talking to a priest in a confessional.

Whether or not sexual activities with non-humans are legal or illegal, it actually depends on the patient confidentiality laws on what the therapist can report. Usually they are only allowed to report life threating cases where you can be a danger to yourself or others.

Much better than I would have explained it.
