Suggestion: Separate "AI art" section in the "Porn" subforum

So, right now, all AI "art" is grouped together with all other actual art, in the "3D, Artwork, & AI Content" section.

I'd love it if AI content would be grouped separately, so I can effectively divide my attention (read: completely ignore AI art's existence)

Most of the AI art threads I'm seeing are just floods of (at best) mediocre generated art, quantity over quality, with fanboys proclaiming it to be the next best thing since sliced bread...
I'd love to have an effective filter for that stuff.

Lets add a couple of other classifications: bodyhorror, unwatchable, commercial crap like bullshit, with exaggerated genitals and lots of way too young looking "people" and real face fakes mixed in here and there for good measure. Recently also adding beat up, bloody scratched "women" with blank, dead 100 mile stare, lifeless facial expressions.

@FloofyNewfie I support this new sub section probably inside the existing art section. It will make it a lot more easier for us to delete and ban people for posting borderline underage AI stuff.

Lots of AI stuff is really uncanny. To the point where it becomes more weird and uncomfortable than attractive. AI drawings I don't mind, but all that fake realism is really throwing weird vibes to me lol

And pretty much all of it has blatant mistakes.

I do like some AI art, but this is in a different category, than what those threads are about.

In any case a separate subsection would work. But I would treat it casually. If someone posts an ai image in some already existing non-ai art thread, we are probably not gong to be deleting it.

Would existing "AI art" threads be moved (if / when reported)?

This is not a debate on whether AI is or is not art, it just to separate one kind or art to a different sub section.

There is not going to be a debate on this here. I will keep the thread to the point and it will be resolved once Floofy makes a decision at that point it will be locked.

I mean the reason ZTHorse likely tacked on "AI" to the "3D, Artwork, and AI Content" is likely because it would be a pain in the butt to move everything around. I wouldn't necessarily object to adding a separate AI category, but I really don't feel like spending hours moving everything and trying to distinguish what is and isn't AI content. Not all AI artwork looks like it nightmare fuel, some look pretty indistinguishable from traditional artwork. It kind of depends how much time and effort you put into it since it is a form of skill.

What about topics with mixed content (AI mixed with cartoons, drawings or pixelarts)? They will be moved too? If Yes, I can remove all AI's from my gallery because I don't wanna belong to AI family haha ?

How about a "going forward" type policy? After whatever date, all AI goes here, the rest, wherever the hell it is now. (How the hell would you even tell with some of it anyway?)

With a disclaimer stating that, and anyone who wants to cry can get over it. I can't see where anyone would want to spend the next 4 months sifting thru all that shit when a lot of times, it's almost indistinguishable from non AI.

I don't know really, but it doesn't seem like there is a big issue now (complaints), but, going forward, there could be I guess.

Worst case, not many really care, best case, you save some time and trouble going forward if it will or might become a problem.

My bf created AI but become sworn AI enemy and he said that his dream is wipe all AI from ZV forum ans other communities, only 3D and normal arts should be allowed ?

Like you said before It's only going to get harder to distinguish and in another year it will be near impossible. Another 6 months to a year and people won't even know which is which. Puts people in a position to unwittingly break the rules and increases the workload on you guys a lot. It's disruptive tech is the issue plain and simple.

This is what AI fanboys have been saying for years, and yet 99% of AI art has blatant mistakes.
It's easy to tell it's AI-generated. That's not gonna change nearly as quickly as the AI fanclub keeps shouting it will.

And if/when AI art is really indistinguishable from actual art, then there's no problem.

I like the idea, it can help divide artificially generated content from art that has been made with effort and hard work from others

I agree but for a different reason that most people complaining in here. A section dedicated to AI that houses generations and LoRA/Model sharing would be great :)

I personally don't give two cents about AI art as I don't even visit the particular section. But if many people find it annoying to have AI stuff mixed with generic artwork, then I agree to have it separated.

I think moving the existing topics wouldn't be THAT big of a work as majority of the thread titles already have "AI" in them, so staff wouldn't be forced to peek in every thread one-by-one. The rest that may slip through is later asked to be reported for moving.

I think the "going forward" policy would just end up in an uncontrollable chaos, with "unnecessary" reports all over the place.

So move all or nothing.

Or.. maybe another solution? AI can be moved to section where posting counter and reactions will be locked. Ppl will stop creating and uploading AI when they notice that kind of content is not rewarded in ZV. ?

I agree with this. I’m not young enough to have gotten into the whole “fucking cartoons” thing.
