I prefer stories 100%. A video now and then is good, helps me imagine how it really is and the motion, combined with my experiences make stories more enjoyable.

I enjoy reading the erotic stories, I seem to be able to visualise the characters as well as the scenes in my mind better than watching a video, in a video the characters thoughts and inner feelings aren't shown as they can be in writing.

I enjoy reading I find if it's written by an author who knows how to draw the reader into the scene I begin to become immersed mentally and almost physically into the story to the point I can mentally see the characters and feel what they are feeling even more if it is an erotic story.
