Hey so I was wondering, is there a way to block spam messages or someone constantly messaging?

this guy keeps messaging me convinced I am his girlfriend and keeps saying he’s going to call the police on me... now I’m not worried because there’s 100% no way I am possibly his girlfriend (I’m single and have been for several years)

I keep clicking to “ignore” his messages.. but then he just makes a new account and spams me with threatening messages ? how do I just block or report this guy for harassing me?

How do I report someone please?
It’s honestly just a nuisance more than anything... I’m not worried because I have no idea who this person is lol and I’m 1000% sure they don’t know me but it’s just making me not enjoy this site so much

I'm sure it is ruining the website for you. :(

Click their username, click again, then once you are on their user page click the "Report" button underneath their name.

I know that feeling. Report him to @ZTHorse or other admins and let them handle
 
I can’t say I am shocked unfortunately but I find that just totally ignoring them with no reply works best. I’ve gotten tons of odd/weird /inappropriate messages from people with ZERO posts. Being polite but not feeding the conversation seems to end it well enough.

Sad truth is that you just have to wait for them to move on most of the time.

Yeah it is. I regret what I did last time when I encountered a creepo/stalker

This guy was not moving on even when I ignored the messages

and as you Can see above he put someone’s name address and phone number.. definitely not acceptable
 
You just joined the site and already you're being harassed to no end by creepy guy.
That's either very suspect or very bad luck.

I can think of something... There have been several zoo related forums in the past. Beast Forum being one of them, but I guess it was not the only one. You could have accidentally chosen a nick that was already used on another forum, by someone you don't know. Then someone who does finds the same nick here and starts picking. On you that is, not the one who used the nick before.

Either that or there are pricks over here who do not respect women and start annoying them with private messages. Generally speaking, those pricks are everywhere but they wouldn't go to the extend you have been seeing.

I hope that intervention from staff sufficed to have a pleasant stay at this forum ;) .
 
I’d go with the latter... he was convinced I was his wife/girlfriend (I’m 1000% single)... yeah it’s definitely the first and hopefully last time someone goes to those extremes with me

if you click on your username in the top right of the screen, then click on privacy, 2nd choice from the bottom "Start conversations with you:" you can change it from members only to people that you follow. that way only accounts you have followed could dm you. would prevent them from making new accounts just to harass you
