I find the whole situation hilarious and on topic for this forum, so I'll just write what I know.
2 days ago someone created that sub with a description "a sub for pics and videos of cats fucking". Then they were legitimately surprised to find out that in like 3 hours someone actually posted cat porn (just cats). 2 hours after creation there was already a post on /r/AgainstdegenerateSubs and now they have a voting whether or not to ban cat porn because of reports. The photos got removed. The results are pretty even: 23 for banning, 20 for not.

It used to be a lot friendlier with people from /r/zoophilia around, true. Now there is even r/zoophilesarehorrific for antis only.

First of all, I'm not a furry and I'm not into cosplay. Second, can you quote the sentence where I was supporting zoophilia on your subreddit? That should be easy, I have posted literally 2 of them. Third, where is that in the rules?

You've attempted to explain zoophilia with a scientific stance, rather than curing it with a 7.62x39. I think it goes without saying that zoophilia is bad.

There is no defense for zoophilia. It is inexcusable, and should be a capital punishment.

So reddit is not friendly at all. But there are a lot of outsiders and ways to reach them. It can be useful in showing who we are. Also, sometimes new zoos get scared of this part of them and seek help on the platform. If you ever want to help them, keep in mind that you are likely to come across someone who is not just scared and confused but have already thought it through and came to the conclusion that it's wrong for some reason. They might not even want to discuss it further.

I saw where someone on reddit said that they were banning zoophilia content as "violent" content. I reasoned that since I could not find that shithead and punch him in the throat, and probably wouldn't, I would never use reddit again.

Reddit rules don't say anything like that. The thing is, each subreddit defines additional ones.
