Shin/Knee Pads?

I saw these in a video, and I'm curious what these things are. And I know someone smartass is going to say they're shin/knee pads... I know that. lol

But are these a general item made for a certain purpose or would something like this have to be custom?
Or are there other things similar to this that could be used for a similar purpose?
I'd like to get something like this that would me a 6"-8" lift.

Before anyone recommends it... I've tried pillows and couch cushions before. They're too big and he ends up stepping on them and that doesn't help when I need to lift me up but keep him on the ground.

I’ve seen something similar used for rugby practice, though they were quite bigger. Seems like a hassle to wear them though. Do you get a lot of scrapes?

I've never seen knee pads like that but the appearance makes me think that they're kink related. Hard motorcycle knee/shin pads would give you maybe an inch of rise, and if you wanted more they would be pretty easy to modify. You could probably just screw a 2x4 into them lol

Get one of these (pic taken from google images, totally not me). It's the only thing I've found that we can do missionary with and doggy is just as easy. You just have to push down the side and plant your knees in.

All right... Honestly... My first thought...

Ok, weird ideas (like imagining someone fucking on a lake with floaters on the legs) out. LOL

Looks like a good idea, BUT 6 to 8 inches is a lot and chances are they will roll on the leg and be unestable.

As suggested, I'd try standard sport or motor protectors and suplement a bit at a time and try different materials to find what works best for stability.

go to your hardware or home improvement mega store if you need knee protection.
Knee pads in the tools section normally same area as tool belts pouches and such
tile layers use small actual knee ones mostly but big long jobs are much nicer with those long leg pads
You will NOT spend hrs on your knees on hard surfaces with out pads
just the knee pad type thin cheap for around 10 bucks or less, the better hard surface pads for around 20
those long pads are not cheap and likely only available from specialty stores
standard knee pads are all you need even for yard workouts or concrete floors if you only need knee protection
the hard shell type pads i have had are at least 2inches thick never thought about it till now but get a size foam pad that fits your knee then an over size hard shell pad that could fit over it would increase height. A simple razor knife will easily cut the foam ones to a fitable size inside a bigger one.
Big box home improvement stores have large selections of knee pads, i would think, definitely deserve a look thru.

1684600651453.pngthicker covered pad wont rip or tear easy $9.98

Gel pro flooring knee pads Non-Marring $24.98

Also kneeling pads work well for height adjustments that is narrow enough for only you can be had at wallmart or aldi in various thickness

Theyre likely a specialty item for Carpet and Flooring Installers. But as Ms Knotjen pointed out, they shouldnt be difficult to make.

Thanks for everyone's replies.

Just get Motorbike knee pads

I dont need anything for knee protection, I simply need something for elevation that also wont span across between my legs where his legs/feet need to be or to be so wide that he might accidently put his paw down on it. That's why I was looking for something like what I saw in that video.

I figured it I had something that was 6" wide as well as 6" tall that might be stable.

I already use an exercise bench for missionary, but it doesn't work for doggy because I end up being too low and he cant really get his forelegs around me and get a grip because the bench itself gets in the way of him clasping me.

Oooo this is really cool if you decide to try and get some let me know how they work I could see how something like this could be really beneficial posture wise!

I have carpet and hardwood in my house. If we have sex out of the blue (which is most of the time tbh I don’t really have to do that much planning since it’s just us two at home) I’ll just put a towel down. But if im looking forward to it, I’ll throw on some wrestling shooting sleeves on sometimes, GAME CHANGER, just throwing it out there.

You will get used to it over time. I do it outside and my knees used to ache after a while but now not at all, even on concrete.

Seem like several of the recent posters didn't bother to read the original post before replying. Folks, this thread has nothing to do with a desire to protect her knees.

I'm for kneeling pads myself, they look like they'd provide the needed height boost while being small enough that the dog won't step on them too. Did any of these items ever work out for you, @allyfitz ?
