Romance or lust?

So forgive me if this was already asked, if so you can link me a thread. This is my first time posting so if I do anything wrong let me know.

Question, when you finally decided you were zoos, was it through naturally developing a bond with your companion? Or was it through more lewder experiences on the Internet or real life? Did the love come first or the lust?

I was never attracted to people in a romantic way.
We did not have a dog when I was discovering I am zoo.
So most of the beginning was through porn. Later on I found out I want to love an animal partner.

definitely a more romantic one, for me. ive not had a dog yet, but for my relationship with zoo stuff the sex parts are more or less secondary

Definitely lust. I’ll love and take care off a dog but I’m more romantically involved with women.

I've been around animals most of my life and like most it starts with with a natural awakening to their sexual side. Then the things that get them going in the mood which leads to other things.
No different from any other relationship.

I'd say romance came first, though there was definitely lust close behind.
I've never particularly felt romantic with humans (well, until I found a wonderful boyfriend through this site's DMs ❤️) but whenever I was around the family dogs I always just felt calmed, and happy. And as hormones raged I started to realise that the reason I felt that way was because i saw them as not just animals, but equals (...that sounds rehearsed, but I do mean it). From there it just sort of blossomed to something more.
Heck even nowadays with my current boy love comes way before lust. If he suddenly decided "no more sex" I would still love him just the same :gsd_love:

Puberty but I don't think we are allowed to talk about that here. That would be lust. I have never been as physically attracted to humans as dogs and I've never been as emotionally attached either. Almost every human I have ever known has been wishy washy and untrustworthy and quick to turn their back but dogs are rock solid.

My past mate was mainly romantic based but I'm sure lust always had a part however the personality she exhibited overrode that.

If my companion is not interested in sex,
I'm still gonna love 'em deeply.

In my case it was pure lust, i did not even have reference as movies today, i may case it happens in a natural way, starting with a lick close enough to my sex, there was not love involved

lust first, thought it was just bcs of hentai.

Then meet 2 animals with i had genuine feeling, only platonic things thought. Same butterfly in stomach i have when thinking of the human crush.

For me it was a mix. It was a moment of experimentation, curiosity and an intact German Shepard that was the family pet. Of course I felt a bond with him and he was a big part of my life and the curiosity and experimentation led to list and new experiences.

This is definitely an interesting topic, a lot are stating romance.
I'm curious to know the relationship status though.

Would someone that is married and in a long term relationship still say romance?

I would say it depends on the person. For me it will always be a mix of both. There is the list side which always is a pet of another being penetrating my body. The romance is much different with a dog than a human, but there is some of that to.

Maybe it is the afterglow, the satisfaction of an orgasm, the thrill of being penetrated and then after the wash of relaxation makes for a romantic moment.

We had our dog at 8 weeks. My partner fell in love with him then. She is as close to him as she is with me. It's a lovely bond
