wondering if it's possible to make the videos on this community that can't be downloaded.
it's a worrisome way for someone on here who was happy to make a post on here to share only to for some to download it and post it towards the worst site ever
if there's a method to upload a video without it's downloading option
just a request to give this site a new update policy on spreading video's to dodgy zoo site

Not possible, anywhere. That's not how the internet works. Even when "streaming" something the data is being transferred onto your computer, it just may be in an "encrypted" form you can't open independently, unless you introduce easily programmable third party software inbetween.

When you play video - it means that data parts are already downloaded to your device. So, with help of some intercepting software you can get this data.
And of course you can always take avideo from screen using your phone or another camera, and then reupload.

Even if there was some possible ways or adding some code to prevent it, there's also screen recording software, and unless there was a method that prevented direct link access. It won't be possible. It's also a forum software, so that leaves things that could be possible with a video sharing site not possible on a message board. Other ways you can do things is watermark the video. Doesn't have to be something that links your username, can be anything. Usually the ones that complain about watermarks in videos is the ones wanting to share it or make money off of it.

The right click and the download button can be disabled, but it can still be captured with screen capture software. In the worst case, of the monitor can be recorded POV, like in the old days in cinema the movies on warez sites.
