Posting from the perspective of a gay guy that likes dogs, likes people, and doesn't want to get in trouble for how I like them:
1) Being social with each other over coffee is actually okay even if a dog isn't involved - we all have this interest and it'd be nice to chat with others that share this interest. I'm looking at you, non-owners who only want to meet owners (but not just you).
2) Some of us don't trust Telegram as safe. There are better options, but even those are traceable, and screen shots can be cut and pasted. Just like people block their faces when they share videos, there are people here who don't want an electronic trail tracing them to this.
3) If you are worried about meeting someone in person because you think you're going to get busted for doing something illegal, don't do anything illegal. At least in the USA, talking isn't illegal, and except in Florida, watching videos together isn't yet illegal.
4) Some of us (well, at least me) would be happy to meet your dog(s) even if no sex is going to be involved because we (I) genuinely love dogs. I can meet your neutered dog. I can meet your dog that's not interested in sex with me. I can respect your wishes to not have sexual anything with your dog even if your dog has other ideas. I think that all of us are used to hearing no for an answer and respecting that. Anyone that doesn't respect boundaries around that is stupid and putting themselves at risk.
Now, if you agree with these ideas, you're anywhere the Nation's capital, or you just want to talk about this stuff, feel free to write to me or post here. If you disagree, you're entitled to your opinion, but please respect that others are entitled to have opinions that disagree with yours.
And to be clear, I'm not only NOT a law enforcement anything, but I too (like many of us) are concerned about them and don't want this attraction/interest to disrupt my otherwise very normal life.
