Question about socks

I understand the use of socks on a k9 durning intimate moments but at least at first many k9’s are not to keen to them.
Why not just get some actual doggy booties?

i just wear a shirt, sometimes naked (i don't really mind scratches). seems easier than having him get used to socks/booties.

I've been using old cut up pants and sweaters to avoid scruffs and scratches for some time.

Best solution as a regular i found are special "dog socks". They are usually worn under these "dog shoes" and are pretty soft and pleasant
on bare skin.
