Hi, new to the forum, not new to the lifestyle. My question is really not of concern but rather a explanation on why?

So to give a bit of context, i have been active with my 2 boys (GSD) for almost 6 years now, and it hasn't really bothered me, i am very self conscious on hygiene and how important it is. Thank you for the response, yes, i am not really worried by it, was just a case of lingering thoughts, since i never really thought about it in that sense.

I would think that the issue is that you got knotted the day before, and even though you tried your best to clean up thoroughly, dogs do produce alot of cum and there was still some left over, deep inside you. The young man was simply suggesting that if she was interested in biological mechanisms, she might want to look into 'microchimerism'. Sperm-related persistence might share some conceptual similarities with microchimerism. But it doesn't share any similarities! That's the issue!

If somebody opens up about something they're potentially a bit worried or anxious about and somebody vaguely suggests looking into something with no context, it opens the doors for misunderstanding or exacerbating those worries. In this case "Hey I'm worried if dog sex is having a permanent affect on me" and the worst outcome is if this person comes away from this with a surface level understanding of microchimerism and the belief that her very genetics are being altered!

I definitely made assumptions but with literally nothing to go off and no real connection to the topic at hand, what else am I supposed to think?

Although he was wrong, I understood his reference. If male cells or genetic material persist in a female's body, it could resemble / mirror microchimerism, as foreign cells (in this case the sperm donation) remain within the host. The resemblance lies in the foreign genetic presence and potential for long-term coexistence within the host body. You are totally right this distincts from classic microchimerism, which typically involves a transfer of whole, functional cells that can survive long-term and sometimes proliferate. You were totally right in correcting his contribution but I still don't see any reason to profile him the way you did

Yeah I definitely went a bit overboard on the assumptions side of things.

I think I've just dealt with a lot of that type of thing recently on and offline and it's gotten to me a bit.

It was very possible for me to call out how these ideas can be pushed by people who twist the science to serve their own agendas, and not make assumptions about the poster. Spreading awareness without sounding like an aggressive prick or making personal assumptions definitely seems like the better move and I obviously deserve to be called out about it.

I do wish people would try to add their own explanations or context so the rest of us aren't left guessing what they're implying by a one word comment.
