Problem With Videos

When I watch videos on any website, I prefer to play them without downloading them. I have noticed that on this site, videos sometimes play withou d/loading, and others download first.

Is there a way to set it up so that it always plays without downloading?

No. Some people do not upload mp4 files and instead use other formats which are usually larger than necessary and do not play in browser.

This isn't a video streaming site. It doesn't convert things to browser friendly format. It's a forum, a place of conversation, if you want videos then you get the format you get.

It allows you to play online only with the correct file format, the rest must be downloaded.
The server is quite slow, so you usually have to download anyway, because in many videos you only see the loading.

That's annoying. Considering the risks of having zoo porn on your system, I'd hope theres a way to stream these vids without having to download them.
