The license and the building may date from the 1880s, but the lady in the photo probably wasnt born quite yet. Its been said that is Sadie Marcus Earp, but that was recently disproved.

Looks more like a still from a John Ford Flick. It's not that old, Chemistry-wise. More, that shot angle is from a tower. There is no place in the West that pilgrims could have trailed past that would allow this angle and depth of field together. By 1885, the big trains were finished. Four or five wagons were more normal.
