The USS Iowa crosses the Panama Canal at Miraflores Lock near Panama City, Panama. At 108.2 feet wide, the Iowa-class battleships are the largest vessels ever to scrape their way through the 110-foot-wide locks of the canal. They were designed so that they could just fit through the waterway.

European House Sparrows, which are more like a finch than a sparrow. There are some in Indiana, imported in the 19th C to make some newly immigrant pops feel at home

A Peregrine Falcon....these awesome critters can dive as above and develop speeds of 180 + mph/ 289 KPH. If you ever see one hit his prey at that speed, you will never forget it....And even at slower speeds, they seldom miss
