Note: even stripjoints had a dress code, though this place didnt open til 7pm. Basic Gentleman's dress after 5 pm required a Jacket, Collared Shirt and Tie...it included the 'O' Clubs on any Military base...If you were not in Class A Uniform after the Retreat Gun sounded, you were not admitted, although a good Club Steward might keep a Shirt, Jacket and Tie for Officers he knew, to borrow.
