Scary thing is a lot nof these little guys die and we cant without them

That is Scary indeed....It would be the death of most flowering plants. We"d lose fruits and most nuts to be left with grass based, wind pollinated and/ or root veg.....and while those are all nourishing, they are extremely boring as a general diet ....not to mention windy.
