"Snacks. I know you have some. Out with 'em."
Interesting backstory! And I have, since, seen a "Rin Tin Tin" TV series on my Prime Fire Stick.Surprised, Miz K....The original Rinty was found in WWl France, by a US soldier after a bombardment injured the dog. Apparently he was part of a German security group that had been abandoned by his handler. As the war ended, that doughboy agitated until the unit commander let him keep the Dog and get him back to healthy.
The dog turned out to be pretty smart, and very trainable. Eventually, the psir ended up in Hollywood. Rin Tin Tin was as damous in the time as Tom Mix's Horse, Tony, or the later Silver of the Lone Ranger and Roy Rogers' Palomino Trigger.
Movie and then TV Star.
