A female mechanical engineer (very unusual for the time) designed the propellers for this ship. If I recall, she came up with a unique design that not only practically eliminated the vibration due to cavitation, but helped propel her to record setting speeds!!

Looking at this a little better, Oor Willie is not wearing a field jacket, but his combat blouse....And while theres no actual info being conveyed by this painting, He DOES seem to be wearing a "Ranger" flash. Rockwell was careful with the truck numbers too....The idea is correct, but it's a nonsense number.
