Anyway, looking for the horseshoe -on- the coffee (quite guessed the reason ) I stumbled on this one

well, Mijo....Thats actually a LOT of Coffee....I use about a level Tbs per six oz cup( not eight, as many people do. A coffee cup of normal size is six oz). If its for me, and Im making a twelve cup pot, I will "throw in one for the pot"....so its a mite stronger. Decent water makes a difference....but Good coffee isnt Rocket Science....

Doesn't explain that horse shoe though....
