Here's the best advice in the whole of telecommunications.
"If you don't want anyone to ever see it, don't do it on the internet."
doesn't matter who your provider is, doesn't matter which cellular carrier you use, ALL communications are monitored at all levels of service. just not ALL the time just yet, but that's also coming eventually.
EXAMPLE: I worked for an internet service provider located in Las Vegas, our offices were in the suburbs of the city, but our hardware was located in town on the fiber optic network, for speed. While I was in the "Fiber Switch" with several of the in-house technicians, we used to use the "Diagnostic equipment" to listen in on the "Adult Telephone Sex lines" and output the encoded digital phone signals, back in to Audio & listen in.
This is just 1 example of things that occur "behind the scenes" even with internet hosts.
