Pet pig

Lurker
First time poster, I have been lurking a long time. This is probably an old topic or wrong place sorry. Delete it if I'm wrong for posting......

What to expect when having a pet pig? If I get one, is it a lot of work or hard to keep it private? Do pigs really enjoy sex or is that a urban legend?

The best way to find out is probably to find a place for people who have pet pigs and ask that community directly. I bet there are whole websites dedicated to pet pigs.

I would guess it is as hard as keeping sex with a dog private. The size is comparable to a large dog.

Any animal is capable of enjoying sex. I have seen several pigs masturbate on their own so the chances are high.

Thank you for such a fast reply, it's nice to know that pigs are into it too and won't be hard to make a relationship with. I will do lots of research before finding the right one but it is reassuring that I can expect a lot of fun.

Actually pigs are supposed to be *very* intelligent. More than dogs, it seems (even if I hate to admit :D)

So if you are looking for a fun and friendly pet, chances might be good.

Actually years ago, I was thinking on having one but he would have to be alone for some times, so him getting bored plus all pig sty cleaning... I went for easier to keep and entertain. Goats.

Still, pigs are supposed to be quite clean if not enclosed and given the chance. But that snout is quite destructive :D

I hate that they're so smart because it makes them so damn stubborn ?
