I bet you put your dentist in a higher tax bracket.Coke, Hands down....Pepsi was a cheap knockoff at the time....it was half the price of a Coca Cola.
Their jingle, for you " deprived of a real childhood " youngsters:
" Pepsi Cola Hits the Spot!
Twelve full ounces, that's a lot!
Twice as much for a nickel, too!
Pepsi Cola is the One For You! "
Doubt it...I never drank Pepsi, and in the day, Coke was about the same price as beer. It wasn't until the advent of Corn Syrup that prices evened out.I bet you put your dentist in a higher tax bracket.
No....but I have seen a drunk Mexican on coke.Have you guys ever drunk a Mexican coke before?
I meant drink a Mexican coke not drunk it's the spell checks.Have you guys ever drunk a Mexican coke before?
?DRANK would be the appropriate word.
(English lesson of the day).
Yes. By law, Corn Syrup cannot be used as a sweetener in Mexico, so Coca Cola still uses sugar there....it is often imported into the States and it tastes like Coke is supposed to taste.Have you guys ever drunk a Mexican coke before?
Wrong, chummy...."Have drank" is not proper english grammar. "Have Drunk" is correct.DRANK would be the appropriate word.
(English lesson of the day).
Try the Import, Floof....it will come in a half liter bottle with a white paper label pasted to it....one taste and youll know why coke is king, and has been for over a hundred years.I kinda gotta go with both. Some days while reaching for a cola soda, I'll go for a Coca-Cola. While other days I'll go for a Pepsi. It just depends on what I'm in the mood for and I can't say that I like one over the other.
I've had both the real sugar Pepsi and the Mexican version of Coca-Cola, but still I like them both for slightly different reasons. Coca-Cola is more smooth and has the classic Coca-Cola taste that most people are accustomed to. While Pepsi... it's a little harder to pin down. It has more of a Cola... bite to it, and has it's own subtle flavor to it that's unmatched by Coca-Cola. While I prefer the real sugar versions over the High Fructose Corn Syrup counterparts, I like them both for different reasons. Coca-Cola for it's smooth classic taste, Pepsi for it's cola bite and unique flavor.Try the Import, Floof....it will come in a half liter bottle with a white paper label pasted to it....one taste and youll know why coke is king, and has been for over a hundred years.
Well...golly gee SB...I guess someone who knows that jingle would be someone who has, you know, been around "for a while," so to speak?Coke, Hands down....Pepsi was a cheap knockoff at the time....it was half the price of a Coca Cola.
