Has it been discussed before the construction of an object which would allow for safe(er) and more enjoyable mounting by a large animal, most specifically horses, but also bulls and bucks?
The two important functions would be:

- If properly calibrated [the depth would be adjustable by increasing or decreasing the length of the artificial vagina] it would for the most part remove the danger of thrusts tearing internal structures. It is assumed that the girth can be handled, there isn't much help if it can't. Even if not needed for safety it is plausible that many recipients have a preferred depth of penetration which is less than what would otherwise occur.
- Could potentially be more pleasurable for the mounter as a fuller length of penis would be stimulated and the entrance more readily found.
- Could potentially be more relaxing for the mounter to be able to rest his full weight without worrying about crushing anybody, the angle and pressure on his chest and front legs could also feel more natural
- Hard to hide a toy that big, but people who keep large animals tend to have more storage space than others
- Probably slightly over a $1000 US considering labor, temperature control may also be an important feature
