Owner conundrum

Makes me smile whenever I see the word " owner ". Well yes I am in one sense but in reality my boy " owns " me. Its me who attends dutifully to his needs, walks and feeding when he needs, bathe him, take care of his welfare and generally fetch and carry for him, on top of having been made his " bitch " so who is the real owner ? Anybody else feel subordinate ?

Does he buy you your food? Does he provide shelter?

The bedroom isn’t all there is.

As a male “owner” looking for female humans to play. I am more of the person responsible for looking after the dogs rather than the owner. Non pet people see us as owners.
Ultimately my dogs are very close friends if not extended family.
