I know this question has been asked before, but I was looking for more evidence and direct insight. I am totally comfortable kissing, getting licked by, and receiving oral from dogs. My girlfriend was introduced to this by me and is very into the idea of it and we love watching the porn together. However, she’s a little concerned about the hygiene and safety aspects of it. I explained the whole dogs’ mouths are cleaner than humans thing, not something you just do with any dog, etc.but from some outsider prospectives: just how safe is it getting eaten out by your dogs? Is there a risk of any disease or infection? How common or rare would that be to get an infection from that? If the dog is clean and in good health everything should be fine right?

I can't see any realistic possibility beyond a possible allergic reaction to dog saliva. And the chances of that are probably incredibly small. In terms of overall oral hygiene, dogs ARE cleaner than humans from a bacteriological stand point, simply because they have the necessary "helpful" bacteria to counter the "harmful" bacteria.
That being said, maybe not the best course of action if Rover licks his ass or yours just prior to the act. In the interest of giving the good guys some time to work and avoid direct transference. It goes without saying that this is probably the best policy concerning not just ass, but any of the multitude of disgusting shit dogs routinely chew on as well, like garbage or dead animals, lol.
Better safe than sorry.
