New here. What's the catch?

Oh yeah, I forgot all about that. Unlimited porn here, though it’s pretty slow. Might be the VPN and encryption though, I wasn’t so careful back in my BF days.

I've been here a couple months now, and I've never seen a single "catch." Now as for paying; you don't have to do that. The amazing person that created this place was kind enough to have no fees or hidden prices. You can donate to help keep the site up and running, you'll get the title of "Zooville Philanthropist" which is a nice plus. Now, I do agree with @pes on that probably 90% are just here for the porn or to ask if they can fuck your animal. But most anyone you run into regularly on this site are legit zoos, and just pretty damn cool (unless you're in the dumpster fire... that's a different story) Welcome buddy, enjoy your stay in ZV

No, I am not one of "those" people that are looking for meetings with others or stuff like that.
Initially I just came here to download some videos, but this place seems really great and I think I might come here more often, not just for the videos!

You said you were IP banned. TOR changes the nodes, including the end one from time to time, definitely every time you restart. If you were to be IP banned, so would I. Furaffinity actually tries to do it, clicking "New Tor Circuit for this Site" a few times solves the problem.
There are two possibilities:
-it wasn't IP ban but something else
-your TOR is severely compromised and you should look into it
