Awareness and acceptance of what? If you watch the trailer the "contestants" aren't furries. The suits are just a gimmick way to hide their appearance, and there's things like ogres aliens and devils so they aren't simply "fursuits". There's at least one clip where you can see other patrons of the date location looking at the people like "what the fuck".
