My shout into the aether

Hey all!

I guess this is my first post... this is me saying hello to this online world that I didn't really know existed. I'm an early 30's male from Texas.

I've been reading on here for a few days and I am starting to gather that this community is so much bigger than the isolated feelings I've kept buried deep inside since I was a teenager. I'm confident I know what I want and even if I don't actively get it, having people around that make some of this loneliness go away would really make my life a whole lot better.

I think I'm making myself sound like a downer but I just feel really free being able to yell into this aether and not feeling like I have to hold back.

Anyway, I've said enough. Looking to actually be more online more often and make real connections here but honestly I'm not sure how to start, so if you have any advice let me know!
