i was wondering, whats the risk level of this site being taken down? and if it ever is, will a new one be made? does ZV have an archive site? also, is it possible ZV could ever be taken over by hackers/bots/antis?

Yeah, that is always a threat. Of course, we must be on someone's good graces because we are still up. The media has shown us time and time again that if they want your website gone then the tech giant gods can do it.

Usually it's legal action that gets a website taken down, silicon valley has nothing to do with it. Both hosters and registrars have to obey laws and switch off your server or delist your website if there is a valid legal document forcing them to. Google can delist your website on a whim, but then it just won't be found as easily. Finally a provider might simply refuse to service you for fear of such action - they won't host you if you openly do something illegal like hosting animal porn when it's illegal in that country or state.

Oh, btw, in the tor network you can host your own site and even have it reachable without anyone being able to do anything about it - unless you count DDOS attacks that also threaten the integrity of the whole network when used or hacking attempts that might get the location of your server.
