Messages disappearing?

I'm curious..... I was at a certain # of messages, now I'm 1 less. I can understand that if one of them was deleted for "cause" - but how do I know that and why? If I made a mistake in a message I want to know so I don't repeat it. As far as I know, I haven't crossed any lines with my posts / messages, but if I have I need to know that to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Got it, thank you...... although, weirdly, my message count went back to what it was after I posted this!
