based and dogpilled
Lurker
I'm not sure if anyone on here has noticed, but I've seen an uptick in memes about bestiality around the web. There's even the "dogpill" and "white women fuck dogs" memes, which have a Know Your Meme entry and have been picked up and written about by media outlets. "Dogpill", while originally something that was unironically believed by incels and used to fuel hatred, is something that's also being joked about casually by people familiar with the concept.
People made jokes about "ass eating", and later "foot fetishes", spreading these ideas around "ironically" as a "joke". But eventually, the jokes seem to go a bit far, and the idea of "First I was into X as a joke, but I don't think it's a joke anymore" itself has also become a meme. And now, with ass eating and foot stuff being introduced to the public and being semi-normal to bring up, say that you're into, maybe catch a few humorous light-hearted jabs for but ultimately not be ostracized for, I just think it's very interesting that people have moved onto bestiality as the next "edgy fetish meme" to make jokes about.
I have to wonder how many of these people making jokes are being "ironic" and making "jokes". Or how many will make the joke, and then have the idea linger in their head. Or even, in the case of incels that have expressed anger at women interested in animals, I think it's extremely interesting that they hate it so much they have to go seek pornography, share it, watch it, express how it makes them sick, and keep watching more of it while crafting these theories that "all women must do this, and they like it more than my puny human penis". I'm not into scat stuff, for example, and I don't go digging up scat porn or people into scat to harass them, and craft theories about how I'm being totally cucked every time I imagine a woman into scat. Both ironic acceptance, and passionate hatred seem to lead them to the same place at the end of the day, which is being introduced to it and being unable to stop thinking about it.
I just find it all so interesting, how memes spread and get into people's heads, force them to think about things they wouldn't otherwise. How humor, and how attributing ideas to certain groups and how those groups react to one another, how it pushes something as niche as bestiality into the public eye. I wonder how many people will be "joking" about it as more memes begin to pop up and spread around. I've definitely noticed way more than I ever thought there would be.
