Don't underestimate the small guys: my deceased wife was very happy (as was I) with her cute little lapdog; although we were fortunate to have owner-friends on Beast Forum who satisfied her interest in large dogs.

My fiancee LOVED her smaller companion who passed away last winter after many years of mutual joy <3 We'll add a large dog to our family when she's ready, since that will fulfill a lifelong dream, but both are living proof that smaller dogs are capable lovers.

Back to the poll, we're very happy together and will marry later this year after a COVID cancellation in 2020.
