A bit on the chilly side for sure, and in the dark no less. Glad the road was there and you had a place to sneak into to get some warmth and relief. Sorry it was cold and painful and you were burdened by too much luggage. I know what it is like to be outdoors when it is nasty cold for an extended period of time. Always nice to get back inside after. I hope the rest of your walk was better.

Awesome , so the painful walk was worth it after all. Nice ti hear it was not all for nothing. Discovering things is always fun. that is one of the reasons I like to take walks and adventure s in new places. Sorry to hear the connections just did not happen. I get that too. I have been in many situations where I went somewhere to meet people and it just didn't go as planned. Even worse than those situations where you went somewhere new and hoped you might simply run into some friendly like minded folks. Aw well as you say it happens sometimes. Lets hope you have better luck in the future.
