For those who indulge on a regular basis with their four legged friends, do you tend to have one regular room or spot in the house that you would go to for sex?
I imagine for many it might be the bedroom, but for others it might be somewhere else the dog is more comfortable. My assumption is that it probably doesn't make a huge amount of aesthetic difference for the dog what the location is - but I remember reading way back that it can help them to differentiate situations.
So that they know that certain sexy behaviour / anticipation is acceptable and encouraged in that spot, at times, but they would not assume that they can act the same way in other rooms which might be more shared space, or more visible to others etc.

For us, my wife would generally have sex with him only in the one spare bedroom / junk room we also had his day bed in.
That way it was somewhere he primarily considered to be his space. He was always very pleased if she went to visit him there! Because he knew it often (though not always) meant she was there for one thing!

It has been a long time since I’ve had a canine companion, but when I did, it was important to me to only do it in my bedroom. My dog wasn’t permitted to spend time in my room except for when we were going to be intimate. We did it this way for the exact reason you stated. I didn’t want him to think it was okay to do it just anywhere, because that can invite suspicion if he tried to initiate something.

I think it’s nice for the dog, too, because dogs love structure so much. Knowing the right contexts can make them more assured and confident, and I like that.

When I was younger, it was always the bedroom. Locked door, early in the evening or late in the night.
Since I am not surrounded by people and have my own home, it is mostly bedroom and occasionally the living room when he is too eager.
I have also had sex with him when out hiking and also when sleeping in a tent a few times. Loved being in the nature like that and not caring if I am messy afterwards for a day. I guess it is the animalistic side of it, but I am always paranoid of getting found out... so I tend not to take risks.

Makes a lot of sense Lily. Tent sex was always one on the 'Dare You!" bucket list... but never happened here.
Just a little too risky, even a very out of the way location, the uncertainty about how we'd deal with being sprung by an overly curious passing group of hikers!
(Which I know is part of the extra thrill, of course, but wifey was not up for rolling the dice on that one).

No real specific place in the house really since I live alone and keep the front and back doors locked even when I'm home. My doors do have glass but only the back door glass is clear, front door has patterns in it so you can't really see in too well. And my backyard is enclosed in a privacy fence, house has a wrap around porch. You'd have to have a set of binoculars from the back to really see inside and try to catch the right moment. I don't really have a designated "sex room only".

Sounds like a great (and safe) location Para.
Always wise to check the doors are locked! My wife did once have a moment of horror when she was home alone and playing with our dog. Heard her friend knock at the door, call her name and then try the door. Luckily it was locked. She still had to scramble because she knew her friend would know she was home... took a minute to scramble, grab sweat pants and T shirt, pull her hair back, lock the dog in the room, and answer the door... had been talking to her for 20 mins before she realised she had the T shirt on inside out.
To this day, she's not sure her friend bought the excuse she had been "spring cleaning". It was the middle of summer.

Given the paranoia, it has been mostly bedroom or the living room on rare occasions. I do agree out in the nature is perhaps good, but getting caught or seen is an issue to deal. Camping times would be a cute time if they are secluded and not in one of those camping grounds with so many around.

For me its mostly indoors, we have a play mat that we play on so if its in the bedroom, living room or kitchen we only play on the mat. Wish I could play with my boys outside, being free in nature with them.

That sounds a lot like us @katiecpt. We had a particular blanket that would come out, either in our room or in the play room where doggo slept.
We did flirt with the idea of an outdoor picnic in the backyard. But wife was never brave enough. Which I did understand. The downsides of being seen was just too much to risk. But an exciting thought - that freedom of nature, like you say! - nonetheless.
