Let down this weekend.

So ...we’ve been messaging an “owner” for months and finally set up a meet for this weekend (19th/20th).
I double-double checked we were on and booked a hire-car and hotel in Staffordshire. We were so excited!! My girl hasn’t been taken by a doggy for years and she misses it so bad! Then, surprise surprise, he stops replying to messages ...we’re heartbroken.

What does someone get out of stringing this along so far?

I am seriously glad it turned out this way. Sharing animals in the zoo community should not be easy, and should not be promoted for kinksters. Because this is not good for the public image of zoophilia. If you really want a dog so bad, work on having your own dog.

this is not the personal ads section...

I was hoping you may have something constructive

We don’t have a dog at the moment as In our current situation it would be selfish and not be in the best interests of the dog. Thank you for your self righteous judgment, though ...it’s really helped restore our faith in the zoo community.

God, has this community really gotten this bad? Talk about some negative people replying here.

I am sorry that you both were stood up. The build up to an exciting moment is huge and to be let down is down right devastating.

As far as the other person and what they get.. only they really know. They way I always try to view it is in the most benificial way to the other person. For me personally I do not care to be nor get angry so this helps with the mental calm. In that mindset I would say maybe they got cold feet, they were nervous and anxious and at the last moment their social anxiety got the best of them. They could have also thought it was too good to be true and that it was a police sting.

In a negative light, they could get off on the idea of stringing someone along. I mean "Cat fishing" is big enough to have its own tv show. People like to be and stay anonymous for a reason. They can be anything or anyone they want, until of course they are seen for who they actually are.

No matter what their reasons were, stay positive please! It is shitty, it is sad, but I hope you took the time to still spend together with her. Always make the most out of any situation, even if it is not as perfect as you both had hoped. I am sure you will find a pup to help you and her out again soon. Never give up.

Thank you so much for the empathy. It seems to be sorely lacking in many. It's very disappointing but to be honest, the judgement from some of the community members has been even more disappointing. We are in it for the long haul and will take the let downs along the way because well, that's life :) Your response, along with some others, have restored our faith in the community somewhat ? Onward!!! ~Nymph~
