Legal zoo sex

None of the information so far in this thread is correct, which is odd since all it takes is a simple google search. There are two countries where it is legal in Europe.

The answer you are looking for is:

Romania
Hungary
Belarus
Russia (Unless animal is hurt, though there is no specific law)
Finland
Iceland

These are countries where beastiality is legal, though that is not necessarily the case with possession of zoophilic pornography or sale/distribution of said pornography. But if you mean places where there are no legal repercussions for the acts of beastiality, the aforementioned list is a good guide.

My two cents are that your best bet for a multitude of reasons are Romania and Hungary.

I've heard that Hungary and Romania are the zoo hotspots over the past few years. I've thought about renewing my passport and making a visit more than a few times.

Nowhere. It's basicly illegal in Germany, it's defenetly in the Netherlands, and Finnland dies not striktly has a law against it explecitly, but you will get sued nonetheless.

There
Is
No

Legal!

Everywhere in developed countries, the zoo is illegal. Wikipedia lists and the like are wrong. They do not take into account that if there is no separate zoo law in a country, even animal welfare law make it illegal.
The much-mentioned Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Finland, Germany, Russia etc. it is also against the law. These countries are incorrectly referred to as legal because they have been legal for a long time (no longer), and zoo video can be viewed, stored and studio footage can be purchased at sex shops (but only before the law), or there is no separeted zoo law, but it is prohibited by animal welfare law for sex with animal.

You are right about Denmark and wrong about Germany.
May I ask whether you have any actual legal expertise in the countries which you talk about?

I live in Central Europe, relatives and acquaintances in the surrounding countries. I know exactly that it is not legal in Romania and Hungary. It used to be punished because human sex is not a natural behavior for an animal (before 2012). And a few years ago, sexuality was included in the animal welfare act (after 2012). Fortunately, in both countries with light penalties. And for both countries, you can have sex with your own animal between the four walls. Nobody cares. But if someone is stupid, they will be caught and punished.
Porn film studios were allowed to make such films, the law allowed, so many animalsex films were made in Romania and Hungary in the past (before 2009).

In all other countries, animal welfare laws are much stricter (and stupider). Germany is at the forefront of animal welfare act. Is it legal to have sex with an animal? LoL
A friend of mine at a zoo was reported half a year ago by an acquaintance of another zoo because they got into a fight. He had to wipe everything off his computer, his house. Luckily, he had no problem with it, but since then he hasn’t spoken to anyone in public except those he has known for a long time. This happened in Germany half a year ago. I doubt that animal sex would be legal.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. It must be kept secret, not because of the laws, but because of the people. If is legal, you wouldn't be able to tell anyone, because everyone would hate you, you friends, you workplace, you neighborhood, you neighbors, and so on.

Thanks for the info.

Not sure that Germany is actually at the forefront of animal welfare. I think countries like Sweden and Switzerland in particular have stricter laws for animal husbandry and animal protection in general, but I am not really familiar with their laws, just with some examples.

There are a few passage in the German law that sound really great in terms of animal protection such as "no one may cause pain, suffering or harm to an animal without reasonable cause". One might think we are a nation of vegetarians. But we are not, since enjoying the taste of animals apparently suffices as reasonable cause to harm them. And apparently maximizing your profits (or offering meat as cheap as possible) also counts ... it's kind of economically reasonable I suppose.

Another question is whether efficient measures exist to enforce the laws. So does anyone actually check whether farms confirm to the laws that exist? And what are the consequences, if they don't? Germany could do much better in that respect than we do.

Maybe animal protection is more advanced here than, say, in Romania. But it could be better.

Anyway, is it legal to have sex with animals in Germany? Yes, it is, with certain restrictions.

But do you realize that the anecdote about your friend is unrelated to the question of legality?

Not everyone hates zoos, but you would probably attract hostilities, if you were open about it.

Sex with animals in germany is legal, atleast in theory.

It becomes illegal, as soon as you force the animal. The problem is that if you go to court, you need to proof that it's not forced in any way. That's pretty hard to prove.

It is a shame that there is a stigma and misunderstanding about someone having anything but a human companion. I understand there is abuse of animals but i wonder what the percentage is compared to human to human abuse. I would guess that someone would be a lot less likely to abuse a animal companion.
As I get older I trust the animals around me a lot more than most of the people around me.

If the animal is not forced.

It doesn't matter, because the Russians really hate gays, so what do you think they do with a zoophile? The law doesn't matter at all in this case... The same goes for Germany, you will never be able to prove in a country high on animal and nature conservation that the animal consented. No matter the law, 99% that they will punish you. Those are just idiotic words. And it's still illegal in Romania and Hungary, it was only legal a long time ago because of pornographic filming.

It's time to finally understand that zoophilia is not legal anywhere, and where it is legal, it has to be hidden because of people's aggressive attitude.

Defendants do not have to prove their own innocence in Germany. They do not have to prove consent. Prosecutors have to prove that the accused is guilty, so that the animal would have been forced.

This is also the case further east.
It doesn't change the essence, it matter how they phrase it each time. In Germany, it must be kept secret in the same way as in any other country. I don't know why this is so hard to understand. Someone always comes to explain why it's "legal" in Germany, and it's actually worthless.
No animal brothels, no fence jumping, no group animal sex clubs. I don't know what some people think about germans, but they don't fuck an animal at the end of every street. They keep it just as secretive as a person living in the USA.

Can someone provide articles which provides more information on the bestiality laws right now in Germany? Sounds like we have a lot of misinformation or not clear. Information.

But yes, every zoo needs to keep it a secret regardless the laws.
