Living things react to surgery differently, including my doggi. He's fixed and vet-healthy. I've never experienced it with other fixed k9's throught my life, but he doesn't get hard. I assume it normal; has anyone experienced this with their doggi?

Neutered dogs are probably going to have a non-existent sex drive. If the dog was neutered later in life (post puberty), then there is a small chance he may still have some interest, but the majority of the time, they will be limp for life. It is what it is, not much to be done about it now, I suppose.
